This pattern was inspired by yarn my friend gave me.   It was singing to become an easy triangular shawl. Since the yarn was sock weight, the shawl needed to be open and have a strong pattern motif. The diamond pattern and straight edges help to enhance the triangular form of the shawl.
This shawl is going to be gifted to Dr. AeRang Kim. A wonderful pediatric oncologist and researcher.
